Religion is considered a common phenomenon for humanity. There are only minor differences that seek to distinguish different religious groups. However, there are spiritual truths shared by all religions around the world. It is from these principles we can deduce that the element of God is universal, only that different communities perceive it differently.
God created people and everything that can be found in the world. All religious communities point at a supreme being that created them. The differences can be found in how they were created and where the creation happened. It is also common to notice that communities were given the resources surrounding them. They include animals, land, oceans and other natural features. It is from these features that they get their livelihood.
When God created human beings, they were required to love one another. This principle is considered the genesis of morality in the world. It sets a code through which people must live. For instance, you are not supposed to kill innocent people. Do not take away that which belongs to another or hurt the other person. These are the manifestations of loving one another as required by religious practices.
Religious groupings do not condone evil. In fact, it will be punished through a lot of pain. Such evil include killing innocent people, lying, damaging property and other hurtful acts. In most cases, it is said that the hurt you inflict on other people will return to you. This is why people are required to act with compassion.
Everyone should live a hopeful life. The struggles of everyday life are likely to cause many people of lose the hope. This is unacceptable. Through religious activities, one can maintain hope and soldier on in life. Some of the activities that will keep your hope alive include prayer and participation in community activities. The fact that you have lost hope means that your faith is weak. You need to trust God for that hope to remain.
As human beings, we grow through struggle. This is to mean that we must constantly work on our body and spirits to make them strong. It is the struggles of daily life that will keep you strong. Once you overcome the small incidences you encounter in life, you can face the bigger ones. If you give up when faced by the challenges, the bigger challenges will bring you down. Every religion has different mechanisms of strengthening the faith of people around them.
There is a heaven after earth. It might not be regarded as Heaven but there is a place where good people go after conquering the difficulties of this earth. In reverse, there is hell prepared for the evil people. This is why everyone is invited to be good and aim to get to the place of reward. Hell is a place for punishing evil doers.
The differences between religious principles are very subtle. For instance, God is referred by different names but His attributes are similar. Family is given a priority in all religious circles. However, the composition of this family will differ from on religion to the other. The deduction one makes is that the source, purpose and destiny of humanity is one.
