Emotions are alive when people go through difficult times in their lives. It becomes more relevant and more powerful. However, there are many people who are unsure of how to control what they are feeling applying the wwjd principle. And because of this, can cause more damage than good.

Responding to situations as it happens can sometimes result in you feeling differently when the tension has lessened. A good recommendation would be to break down the situation in your mind so that you can properly understand and react accordingly. At the moment it is easy to forget about details and assume the bigger picture is the only answer. Because of this, bad decisions are made.

Sometimes the best way to get over a certain feeling is to speak to someone. When you let out how you feel, it becomes a huge relief and you will automatically feel better. Also, try to speak to someone who probably wasn t at the confrontation at the time. This would mean that they can give you a useful opinion from an outside perspective that could be useful to you. You may even choose to use the advice.

Replacing negative thoughts with good thoughts is always a great idea. When you keep negative thoughts in your mind, it will begin to create a home. In doing so, you will end up going to that place every time something makes you angry. By replacing it, you are teaching yourself that you rather be happy and consumed with good feelings. If you encourage good thoughts, you will always be surrounded by goodness.

The one mistake that people make is that they are quick to block out something bad that has happened. Forgetting is not a bad thing but before you forget it, you need to make sure that you have acknowledged what happened and accepted it within yourself.

One of the lessons that you will learn during this journey is how and when to speak. Speaking out of turn or through anger can make you seem as though you are untrustworthy. Many friendships are broken over such incidents. It is best to learn ow manage your anger and how to speak without emotion, especially to people who are not directly involved.

A clever method that is used by many people to get rid of anger that is held inside of them, is exercise. It is an effective way of dealing with issues without interfering with other people. The idea is that instead of instilling violence and harsh words, walk away and take out your anger in the gym. The adrenaline will actually cause you to work out harder and better. This will also mean that you won t run into times where you may use harsh means to get your point across.

This is a common problem and by reacting a certain way, you are reminding yourself of who you are as a person. Take the simple steps to learn how to cope better.
