What A Person Should Know About Churches That Observe The Sabbath Winnipeg

By Carol Robinson

Christianity is a beautiful religion. It is more than just a religion. As a matter of fact, it is a way of life or more accurately, a lifestyle. The Christian lifestyle involves living in peace with every man. It involves a sinless life characterized by a high level of morality. The moral and peaceful nature of Christianity has drawn many people to it. Christianity gives people hope of a better life in the present world and a perfect life in eternity. Christianity has its roots in Israel from where it spread to different continents. There are many churches that observe the Sabbath Winnipeg.

The Sabbath means varied things to different people. To some, it is simply a day of rest. However, many people view it as a day for resting and worshiping. The concept of the Sabbath started with the Jews in the Old Testament. Even up to the present day, it is still observed by Jews in Israel and other countries.

One of the religious ideas which have always drawn a lot of controversy in Judeo-Christian circles is Sabbath day. However, some people have blown this topic out of proportion. That is due to the fact that they have placed a lot of emphasis on just a day instead of thinking about what the believer should carry out on this day.

The day of worship should never be the bone of contention in Christian circles. There is no specific Bible verse pointing out that one day is preferred over another. The only issue which is emphasized in the Holy Bible is the issue of holiness and righteousness. This is the matter required from the Christian irrespective of worship day.

Righteousness is the true hallmark of an Adventist. It is what sets him apart from the crowd. A Christian should be the light and salt of the world. There should be a stark difference between believers and unbelievers. That must not make believers to discriminate the unbelievers. Actually, they should show them love according to the Ten Commandments.

The life of the believer will start with baptism. One needs to be fully immersed into water which has been blessed by a pastor. That can be the water of a river or a lake. Before immersion, one will be an old creature. After immersion, one will become a born again individual. Baptism is a vital step for any believer.

The Christian walk will not necessarily be easy even after baptism. One will need to read his Bible regularly and pray every day. There will also be the need to congregate with other believers by attending Saturday or Sunday service. The service will start with a word of prayer. There will also be a section for giving testimonies.

Most humans are religious. The earth has over six billion human beings. Over 5 billion people believe in some kind of religion. Of course, a good portion of believers classify themselves as Christians. That is also the case in Winnipeg, Canada. There are Canadians who are Adventists. These individuals fully believe in the Bible. As a matter of fact, the Bible is the most holiest and powerful book ever written.
