Steps To Follow While Preparing For The Rapture

By Henry Martin

As the body of Christ we ought to prepare for his second coming which will happen unexpectedly. Jesus will come in the night to take home those people who would have lived a righteous life that pleases God the Father; these people will receive a reward and enjoy eternal life. In order to prepare for the rapture we must strive to lead a life that pleases God.

During his stay here on earth, Jesus warned his followers to be ready at all times since no one knows the day or hour he will be returning. For some who are living right, it will be a moment of joy and celebration while for some it will be a time of crying and gnashing teeth. Therefore, those who believe in Christ ought to be serious while preparing for the second coming.

In Oxnard, CA many churches and chapels just like the rest across the globe are doing everything to get people ready. There are endless preaching, teachings and scripts that encourage people all over the world to be ready since they do not know when the hour will strike. The idea is to convert as many people and turn them to Christ before his coming.

In order to be among the remnants you need to get born again and accept Jesus as your personal savior. Unless one lives for Christ and endeavor to stay righteously they might not be among the number that Jesus will pick and take back to God. He will only pick those who obeyed and prepared well for his coming.

People also need to get baptized by water for the forgiveness of sin and this was introduced by John the Baptist. While waiting for the second coming, repenting for your sins should be a daily lifestyle after which you will receive baptism and your sins forgiven. Jesus too was baptized, meaning he was showing us the way to live.

When we are cleansed and we have been baptized we invite the Holy Spirit to live in us; the role of the Holy Spirit was made clear by Jesus and it is to give us joy and peace. Jesus said if we receive the Holy Spirit, we will have absolute peace that only comes from the Father. Our shame and sins shall be taken away and we will be ready to take off with Christ.

When you have confidence in God, you become a partaker of His grace and you enjoy supernatural blessings just like Abraham did. Abraham had a lot of confidence and believed every promise God gave him and for that he saw the Promised Land. Likewise as we wait for Christ to come back for us, we too must trust God completely and live according to His teachings.

Making things right with God is paramount if you want to make it to heaven; living a compromised life full of sin will cause you to be left behind. Your bible is your roadmap to heaven and in it you will find everything you need to know about living right and getting ready to be raptured. If you live by these rules, you will be counted among few chosen ones.
