Why Some Of The Catholic Issues Go Unsolved

By Laura Mitchell

The congregation of the modern age is developing and is encountering a few difficulties that are undermining Church existence. Thus, this article will instruct readers particularly on catholic issues being the first christian denomination that existed after the death of Jesus Christ.

It is presently 2000 years since Christianity as an institution began. A few sections of the world have been experiencing decreased population of Christians in light of the changes happening in the world. With new thoughts and liberalization around the world, the church must look for ways to accommodate the divergent views if it is to exist amidst the diverse views that people of the younger generation is adopting.

Interestingly, the congregation keeps on having divergent views on matters such as purity, conception use, and celibacy. For quite some time, men of God have been a good example and role models for many in the society. That is slowly changing because today, the clergy is found in controversial circumstances that are undermining the image of the church.

Many have been being illicit sexual activities that undermine the authority of Gods word to speak against such vices. Pastors and ministers should show the example of God, but that is no longer the case in parts of church organizations. The priests engage in activities that are completely out of touch with the Word of God.

The church must make bold steps to charge its errant clerics that want to prey on the flock by doing things that are contrary to the word of God. The Bible must be the supreme law that guide church doctrines in all its activities if Christianity will outlive the modern ideologies that encourage lots of liberalism.

The cover-up takes different forms with some men of clothe paying victims to buy their silence. In another diocese, the priest implicated in the vice is transferred to another diocese where they continue with their activities. If the church wants to offer the best solution to stem out such vices in its establishments, then they must take criminal action against those involved.

Even if it means taking criminal prosecution for such people that advance such indecent actions like having sexual relations with children then let it be because people cannot continue taking advantage of their priestly positions to have relations with children. If celibacy is the cause of all these problems, then they need to relook at the doctrine.

Some of the issues that need to relook include birth controls and women priests. Birth control is helping people manage their families as well as preventing the spread of STIs such as AIDS. If the word of God acknowledges the equality of all men before his eyes, then it makes no sense to prevent women from serving in any position within the church establishments.
