How Do I Start Taking To God My Problems

By Joanna Walsh

My yoke is easy and my burden is light are the two single most important statements used in the Gospel of Matthew to encourage those who are going through tough times in this life. Many people have asked themselves how do I start taking to God all problems overtime. The sad thing is, people are still asking the same question over and over again, and that is okay.

There is no problem in the world that does not have a solution. There are problems that we can solve on our own, but there are just those that you cannot solve on your own no matter how hard you try. There comes a time when you have so many questions, with few or no answers.

There were consequences though. If you read the Book of Genesis, you see God cursing the ground, the woman turning from a companion to a submissive individual, man toiling to get food, the woman having pain during labor and eventually the human race dying, going back to where he rightfully belongs. You can see now how one simple mistake led the world into trouble, and since then, humankind have lived a bitter life since he has been unable to reverse time and make things right.

The next step is to build faith in God. Jesus said that if you have faith, even just as little as the size of the mustard seed, doing wonders will not be a problem to you, as just a little measure of faith as this can even move mountains. Faith is about believing and certain of things you have not seen.

You can see now that there is actually a loving God to whom you can take all your worries any time you have them. It does not matter what type of pain or trouble you are going through, as God is there all the time to help you. According to the scriptures, God is a compassionate and loving being, one who is always there at the hour of need.

Pray to God through Jesus, telling him all the things that you desire and the troubles that you are going through. Ask him to open the eyes and ears of your understanding and knowledge respectively so that you find a solution to these problems soon.

In as much as God knows what you need even before you ask him, talk to him about it. He is not busy for sure, but He wants to hear you tell him the desires of your heart before He can help. He says you call to Him, and He will show you great and marvelous things that you do not know.

Remember one thing; Jesus said that all those who are weary and heavily loaded with trouble and sin should go to him. Take your time to learn from him, and never forget that His yoke is light and burden is easy. He is a perfect help in time of trouble.
