The best thing about Jesus is that He was a wise, humble, loving and kind servant, who gave Himself as a sacrifice for many. Before going back to heaven, He created prophetic pastor opportunities that would help people spread the Good News of the Kingdom of heaven to the whole world. Before you start preaching, consider the following things carefully.
When Jesus came, He came with a message of the forgiveness of sins for a world that was already lost and desperate. He said that God loved the world so much that He gave His only one son so that anyone who believes in Him would never taste death but live with God forever in His Kingdom. In everything He said and did, He always demonstrated forgiveness.
In his preaching, not once did Jesus point a finger on someone and tell he or she is evil. He did not open his mouth to tell any person that He wish they had died and never been saved by God. Instead, He said that the Father in heaven had brought salvation on the earth, so that the great relationship that there once was between God and humankind be restored.
This is what is required of you; preach the message of the forgiveness of sin and not condemning people for being sinners. If Jesus could really look at a person in the eyes and tell them they will go to hell if they do not accept him, many people would be pagans today. Instead, He approaches people in love and shows them the value of loving God, so you should do the same.
Jesus told people to forgive one another so that they too could be forgiven their sins by the after in heaven. He even gave human beings a condition that if they did not forgive men their own sins, it would be difficult for God to forgive them. In short, God always want everyone to have a heart that finds it easy to forgive.
You need to follow the example of Christ when you are teaching people how to forgive. A good pastor does not tell people how bad they are when they do not forgive people who wrong them. Instead, he or she helps people see the meaning, the importance and the value of forgiveness, hence giving them a reason to forgive men their sins.
You need to follow the example of Jesus and His disciples, who after a successful day in them ministry always gave thank to God. Jesus did not take glory to himself after driving out demons nor did he exalt himself after healing the sick. Instead, He gave glory back to God and always prayed for everyone.
That is what you need to do when you are out there fulfilling the great commission. Make sure you give thanks to God every time the mission is complete. Do not take glory for yourself because that is a sin.
